Un grand soleil is what would happen if Emily in Paris became Emily in Southern France! No Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe or Montmartre here, but there’s an ocean boardwalk, lavender fields and cicadas!

The Bastide, Estrela, Salama, Lévy, Berville and Alami families, plus a host of supporting characters, live and work in the modern everyday city of Montpellier, in southern France. Between romance and crime thriller, with a blend of comic and serious themes, their stories weave a fascinating web.
