Giverny, 1916. Claude Monet is gradually losing his inspiration. Yet he has accepted a commission by his friend Georges Clemenceau, to deliver eight large decorative panels... Then a young boy shows him a series of sketchbooks with illustrations by his brother, a soldier fighting in the trenches.
