The Convoy's millions

February 2022. The "Freedom Convoy", also known as the "Truckers' Convoy", amassed some 9.5 million euros on the crowd-funding platform GiveSendGo. These funds, both Canadian and foreign, are financing the movement that paralysed Ottawa. How should such transactions be controlled? How to explain the success of such platforms?
