Under the bombs in Ukraine

21 February 2022. Vladimir Putin announces officially recognising the independence of the pro-Russia separatist regions of Donbas and orders the army to "keep the peace". That day, a team from "Temps Présent" headed for the Eastern front, where the Ukrainian army and the separatists have been fighting for the last eight years. Xavier Nicol was able to collect the first personal accounts from Ukrainian civilians and military personnel fighting the Russian offensive.
