The Mediterranean: an endangered sea

The Mediterranean is increasingly becoming a maritime trashcan, with the concretisation of coastal areas, the dumping of waste in the sea and the intensification of maritime traffic. Protective measures are being put in place to combat this deterioration, including via protected marine areas.
