Experience French art-de-vivre without leaving your living room. Tendance XXI is THE show about French culture in all its forms: fashion, gastronomy, gardens, architecture, art and much more.

The cultural heritage of France is immense. Throughout the centuries, the country has always been at the forefront in the world of fashion, design, gastronomy, beauty or literature. But French culture doesn’t stop at Dior, Ladurée and André le Nôtre. And this is what Tendance XXI is all about. This French documentary series showcases people in France keeping French culture well alive by giving it a new twist while staying true to its roots. Everywhere in France, craftsmen and women are honoring traditions and teaching the next generation their sewing techniques, cooking skills, porcelain making savoir-faire and much more.

Tendance XXI offers a great inside look at the making and expertise that goes behind making watches, the Hermès bag, sumptuous handmade silk pajamas, macaroons, camembert or Pleyel pianos.

So get your wine and cheese ready, put on your striped Breton shirt and enjoy a slice of French culture with this dreamy documentary series.

And if you’re looking for more, start watching Version Française, another show about French culture, focused on the chic and glamor, also available on TV5MONDE USA.
