Provence: a natural décor for Pagnol, filmmaker

Marcel Pagnol, major 20th century author and member of the French Academy, passionately loved the hills of Le Garlaban, a massif overlooking Marseille. His childhood playground, this sumptuous natural décor became a source of inspiration for the writer and a vast land of experimentation for the filmmaker he became.
