Jupiter makes elderly Philémon and Baucis young again, in gratitude for their hospitality. Will they be happier, young and beautiful in their palace, than old and simple in their hut? One stormy evening, Jupiter and Vulcan seek shelter with the couple, who then find themselves involved in the gods' intrigues...
