LE VOL DU BOLI
At the crossroads between arts, this creation begins in 1931 when, during an ethnographic mission, Michel Leiris steals a Malian Boli. A sacrilege. Following the sacred fetish from a display at the Quai Branly museum to the 13th century Manding Empire, the opera reveals the violence of the Africa-Europe relationship.
