Les bords de la Vire

On the banks of the Vire
The Vire rises in La Butte-Brimbal, before ending its journey, 128.4 km downstream, as it flows into the English Channel. In the past, the river was used to transport cider and butter. Today, the Vire Valley is designed more with hikers in mind, or other water-based activities such as canoe-kayaking.
