RITE DE PASSAGE

Natasha Kanapé Fontaine, an Innu elder sister, accompanies Youmé and Vincent to meet the Atikamekw community in Wemotaci, Mauricie. Under the watchful eye of two mentors, who initiate them into the traditional practices, they spend a week immersed in the culture of the First Nations, anchored in nature and spirituality.
