Episode 3

The first mushers enter Braeburn under the magical northern lights. The rankings are constantly changing. If some decide to take their obligatory rest period and have their dogs checked by a vet, others carry on and only stop when they get to Carmacks, the second checkpoint.

Episode 4

In Carmacks volunteer helpers welcome the first mushers, who set off again a few hours later, heading for the third checkpoint: Pelly Crossing. With a major obstacle having been identified on the route, the conditions on the trail become particularly gruelling for the mushers and their dogs.
