LES PAILLOTES REFUSENT DE BOIRE LA TASSE

Born in the 1950s on the shores of the Mediterranean, the "paillote" began life as an informal beach hut serving freshly-caught fish. But when paid holidays were introduced, their number dramatically increased. Today, with local councils targeting them, they're survival depends on becoming more discrete and more environmentally-friendly.
