For Florence merely sounding Raja, a distinctly temperamental and dangerous zebu, is no easy task. Alix organises a brain operation to treat Arès the cat's epileptic fits. At the SPA animal sanctuary in Fribourg, Éléonore looks after Bobby, a dog traumatised by being abandoned.

Alix treats Slyton, a husky who has arrived in the emergency department with paralysed hind legs. Éléonore tries to save an injured kitten that a driver brought to the surgery after an accident. Florence is out on an emergency call to help Jupon, a cow having difficulty calving.
