For ten months, Yao Guo Qiang followed Jean-Pierre Raffarin, a former French prime minister with a passion for China, during the creation of a Franco-Chinese economic area around Nanjing. To discover the city, which is famous in Asia but little-known in Europe, we met Chinese and foreign citizens living there.
