The road slips beneath our feet

From the lush south-west to the sahel of the north-east, a 600 km railway journey across Burkina Faso. A voyage, a rite-of-passage, from town to village, hope to disillusion, the poet Bikontine collects the stories of his fellow citizens, marked by the political memory of the former president Thomas Sankara.
