Emblematic of France, the rich buttery brioche comes in some fifty different varieties, each linked to its own terroir and history. The industrial manufacturers may have taken advantage of the brioche and its success, but it is constantly reinventing itself, notably thanks to Michelin-starred chefs such as Guy Savoy.
