Just after the Second World War, the deep-sea trawler fleets set out from Fécamp, Saint-Malo, La Rochelle and Bordeaux to fish for cod on the other side of the Atlantic. This is the story of the crews, as told by the sailors and illustrated by footage they themselves filmed.
