"L'Hawaikinui", in the heart of the Leeward Islands
It is one of the three cargo "schooners" serving the Leeward Islands in the archipelago formed by the Society Islands. After a first working life in the cold waters of the North Atlantic, "L'Hawaikinui" is now a merchantman in the Polynesian islands. Today it connects Huahine, Raiatea, Tahaa, Bora-Bora and Maupiti to Tahiti.
