Stéphanie, Pépée, Élisabeth and Karine live in Hauts-de-France, a region subject to particularly high levels of poverty. The four women have known and overcome precarity, following redundancy or one of life's accidents. Despite it all they remain loyal to this northern land, where they found mutual help and solidarity.
