DES RUSSES BLANCS

Following the revolution in October 1917, 400,000 White Russians arrived in France. An exile that was often painful for those fleeing the Russia of the Soviets. Thus the "Russian soul" met the French heart and, through cabarets and the arts, gave birth to a veritable vogue for all things Russian.
