Sickle-cell anaemia is the most widely-spread genetic disease in the world, yet remains little known. For those who suffer from it, their red blood cells take on a sickle shape and can cause fatal damage. In Paris, Pointe-à-Pitre and Kinshasa, we meet both patients and those treating them.
