Through the lives of French soldiers who, between 1954 and 1962, refused to take part in the Algerian War, we revisit a forgotten side of French-Algerian history. Some of these rebels, enlisted or conscripts, pacifists or anticolonialists, sought refuge in Switzerland. Villi Hermann, himself a former deserter, records their stories.
