1895. The Lumière brothers presented the cinematograph, which generated immediate and widespread public enthusiasm. And so began a great industrial adventure for two ingenious entrepreneurs: Charles Pathé and Léon Gaumont. Despite the competition between their business empires and their natural rivalry, both men respected one another and became friends.
