BOIS D'EBENE
An in-depth look at the black slave trade of the early 19th century, involving three-way trade. The film tells the story of an expedition travelling from Nantes to Benin and on to Guadeloupe. The scene switches frequently between the slave ship and the French town, where colonial trade is thriving.
