AU PIED DU MUR ITALIE-FRANCE, LA FRONTIERE SOLI

At 1,700 metres above sea-level, the Hautes-Alpes mountain passes are the new crossing zones for migrants recently arrived in Europe. Defying the extreme conditions, they risk their lives by attempting to cross. En- route, they meet ordinary citizens, volunteers such as Benoît Ducos, accused of committing an "offence of solidarity".
