Injured, exhausted and on the run from two killers, an American gangster finds refuge in an isolated and apparently uninhabited manor. He soon discovers that it's actually occupied by a former actor, blind but with particularly keen instincts. One day the fugitive's nephew suddenly arrives, accompanied by his girlfriend...
