Blackmailed by Serrano, colleague and MP, Dubaye kills him and steals the compromising notebooks, hurrying to see his friend Xavier so that he can provide him with an alibi. But Dubaye himself is killed and Xavier, now in possession of the all-important documents, is pursued by the killers...
