A naked corpse is found in the foetal position in an abandoned cemetery near Mornac-sur-Seudre (Charente-Maritime). Near the body, an oyster shell carved with the name of the victim, a leading local oyster farmer. A perplexing first case for Captain Judith Valeix, recently transferred to La Tremblade police station.
