Mina, a young 13 year-old Ethiopian, adopted at birth by Lionel and Judith, slips into a destructive downward spiral. Aggressive, violent, with a habit of running away, the teenager's behaviour divides the family. Will the love and kindness of her parents suffice to heal her wounds and appease her suffering?
