Paris, 1942. Younes, a young Algerian lives off the black market. When arrested, he agrees to spy on the Paris Mosque in exchange for his release. The rector is suspected of providing Jews and resistance fighters with counterfeit ID. Younes makes friends with Salim, an Algerian singer... and a Jew.
