Le harem de Mme Osmane

Algiers, 1993. The civil war is just beginning. Abandoned by her husband, Mrs Osmane holds her "harem" of tenants in a tyrannical grip, set on trying to control their every move, rather than confronting her own frustrations. But when her daughter Sakina falls in love, her world collapses around her.
