Suffering from bouts of amnesia, Charles calls on the help of his former teacher Paul Régis. Arriving in the Van Horn's sumptuous mansion, the professor discovers that Charles is Hélène's lover, the very young wife of his adoptive father, the powerful Théo Van Horn, and that both are being blackmailed...
