Following her husband's death, Catherine has just moved in with her unattached daughter, Charlotte. A writer, Charlotte earns her living writing erotic novels. Soon, the apartment becomes too small for the two women. They therefore decide to move out. This leads to a procession of prospective purchasers visiting the apartment...
