Sébastien Lacassagne, a young owner of a vineyard, is found murdered. The prosecutor Élisabeth Richard and Captain Martinez launch an investigation. The list of suspects gets longer as they make progress, without counting a journalist who draws their attention to a murder that took place two years earlier.
