Divorced, solitary and maybe just a bit crazy, 45 year-old Pascal lives at the back-end-of-nowhere in the Corsican countryside. Today it's his adored son's birthday. With tuppence-ha'penny in his pocket he collects up his dog and they head off together on his moped to find a toy fire engine.
