TV5MONDE USA offers a premium experience for viewers including over 7,000 hours of fresh content per year with up to 500 titles of the most recent French language cinema and series, up to 6 hours of news and news magazines per day, high quality documentaries, lifestyle shows that feature the latest trends, and so much more.

TV5MONDE offers a minimum of 8 hours of children’s programming per week on weekday afternoons and weekend mornings. Kids will enjoy the latest cartoons and educational programs selected by TV5MONDE. We pick the highest quality shows for kids including classics like Calimero and Il était une fois la vie and modern shows such as Le Petit Prince and Vic le Viking.

TV5MONDE USA also features TiVi5MONDE, the premier French language channel focused on entertaining and educational children’s programming.

We are in the process of expanding the availability of TV5MONDEplus, the largest French language on demand platform with 5,000 hours, throughout the US. TV5MONDEplus is currently offered through the following providers: Altice one, COX, Dish, Frontier, Hotwire Communications, LUS Fiber, Optimum and Sling TV. If you have an active account with any of these providers, you can enter your login information to access TV5MONDEplus. 

Start streaming with TV5MONDEplus by logging in with your provider credentials at www.tv5mondeplus.com, or download the free TV5MONDEplus app on iOS and Android. TV5MONDEplus is now available to download free on Android TV and Amazon Firestick. The TV5MONDEplus app on LG and Samsung will be coming soon! Whenever possible, TV5MONDE broadcasts programs with English subtitles. However, there may be times that the rights to these subtitles are not available. In these cases, we will either air the program with French subtitles or without any subtitles. To see which of our programs have subtitles, please click on our "View Schedule" page. Subtitled programs are marked with an American flag icon or a French flag icon, depending on the subtitle language.

Currently, it is not possible to choose your subtitle preferences as our subtitles are embedded into our programming. TV5MONDE USA is now launched in high definition on certain providers and continues to expand the distribution of its HD signal to other providers. While most American satellite and cable providers are still facing capacity constraints, we continue to expand the availability of our HD signal. The bandwidth required for HD channels is 5 times larger than SD channels and it is the local U.S. provider's decision whether or not to broadcast in HD, depending on bandwidth availability. However, we hope to be able to offer our HD signal soon and will not hesitate to keep you informed.

In most cases, technical difficulties with TV5MONDE are the result of regional issues. We suggest the you first contact your local cable or satellite provider to resolve the problem. If your local provider is unable to help with this issue, please do not hesitate to contact our office by emailing toutsavoir@tv5monde.org.

Our channel’s price is determined by each streaming, cable or satellite provider. For the most accurate pricing information, please consult your local provider.

Currently, TV5MONDE does not have any physical copies of our programming available for sale. However, you may be able to find copies through online retailers.
